• The Okapi lives in Ituri Forests in Democratic Republic of the Congo
• Peopledidn’t know this species existed until 1901.
• The Okapi is the only living relative of the giraffe.
• The long black tongue is long enough to reach their own eyes and ears
• The camouflage markings make them look like a zebra
